Narrative:
We decided to leave our filed altitude of FL410 in search of smoother air. Leveling off at FL450 the 'cabin alt' light illuminated followed by the 'master warning' light. There were no other indications of a loss of cabin pressure. We immediately initiated the memory items for an emergency descent; performed the checklist and contacted ATC with our emergency. Since we were overhead of ZZZ and had been in there before; we both agreed it was a suitable place to land. The pressurization system operated normally during the entire descent. We got vectored around for an ILS to the runway and landed uneventfully.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A CE560 flight crew performed and emergency descent and diverted to a nearby airport when the Cabin Altitude and Master Warning lights illuminated at FL450. The pressurization system appeared to be working normally throughout the event.
