Climbing through FL270 on our way to FL320; triple chime rh engine oil pressure message with EICAS rh engine psi '0'. QRH guided us to single engine procedure. Declared emergency. Landed at a nearby airport. Taxied to gate and deplaned. Maintenance explained that oil scavenge pump sheared shaft.

Title: A CRJ100 right engine oil scavenge pump shaft sheared causing the loss of oil pressure. The engine was shut down; an emergency declared and the flight diverted to a nearby airport.
