Narrative:
On 10/tue/88, upon arrival bos, after deplaning our bos passenger, the senior F/a told the crew there was an FAA inspector wanting to check our manuals. I had just returned from vacation (9/mon-10/mon/88, 28 days). Prior to this checking manuals I had been checking for revisions 1 and 2 for the past months' (8-10/mon/88). I was told by the coordinator that they did not receive revisions 1 and 2, and I did not have these revisions in my mailbox at lga. The other crew members who had revisions had received revisions from jfk and bos bases (not lga). After my not having revisions for the FAA inspector to check he said 'only the ny F/a's have not been having their revisions,' which means lga has not been getting them on time??? I am usually on top of keeping my responsibilities in order (manual updates, etc). I was then told to get the revisions here in bos by the FAA inspector or I would not be able to work my trip west/O an updated manual. I came down to bos in-flight and asked for the revisions 1 and 2. They responded that they could not give out revisions to other base F/a's. After my explaining that I had just had a FAA inspector tell me that would not be able to return to ny west/O them, they gave me revisions 1 and 2. As a F/a I am aware of my responsibilities to X. I would like this statement in my file for any further reference.
