Narrative:
In flight the engine adpt heat #1 caution light illuminated and the associated circuit breaker popped. At the time this occurred we were in the clear above all the weather. We ran the QRH for the failure; notified dispatch; and ATC about the situation. Dispatch kept us informed of the weather along the route and we agreed to continue the flight to our destination. ATC allowed us to stay above the weather until we had to start our descent. The descent was continuous so when we entered into icing conditions it was only momentary. Although we did enter icing conditions we did not accumulate any ice on the aircraft. The flight continued to destination for a safe and uneventful arrival.
Original NASA ASRS Text
