Narrative:
[We] stopped short of the gate due to no marshaller [and] set parking brake. Received ECAM [for] yellow hydraulic reservoir air press low; followed by loss of fluid. [We were] contacted by ramp tower [to] reference smoke from right wheel truck. Subsequently; ramp tower advised they were rolling fire trucks and to shut engines down due to smoke/fire. Shut engines down and started APU. Aircraft rolled approximately 100 ft due to loss of brakes. [We] powered [up the] electric hydraulic pumps and recovered [the] green system and normal braking. Fire crew extinguished fire and cooled brake. Maintenance had been recently performed on the same wheel brake.

Title: An A300 yellow hydraulic system failed while holding short the gate for a Marshaller. Ramp advised of smoke/fire on the right truck and to shutdown engines; fire trucks on the way. The aircraft rolled approximately 100 FT before the APU came on the line and powered the green electric pump.
