Narrative:
A C560 departed out of gpi reported climbing to 12;000'. I missed the initial altitude climbing to and did not have it reflected as climbing to 120 in the data block. Assuming the C560 was climbing to FL270; I issued a vector to diverge from inbound traffic into a 125 MEA. MSAW alert went off prior to entering the 125 MEA. I issued the low altitude alert and that is when the pilot stated he needed a climb higher out of 12;000. I gave the climb to FL270 and the aircraft climbed out of the 125 MEA.
Original NASA ASRS Text
