Narrative:
We were issued 'left turn, heading 320 degrees following noise abatement procedures. Cleared for takeoff' after 1000', the captain turned left to 320 degrees while climbing on the SID. The tower controller came on frequency and said, 'I did not authorize that turn. I wish you guys would listen up. I know we are busy and in a hurry, but we need to work together to get this thing to work.' we continued the SID west/O further incident. The reason, and therefore the crux of the problem, was lack of material on aeronautical or publication charts. There is no noise abatement procedures printed on our commercial charts. The ATIS did not mention anything specific, nor did the tower. For pilots to comply with sids and noise abatement we need printed material or to be told what we need to do to comply. I suggest noise abatement pages be added to commercial charts and nos charts. Verbal clearance would be the best alternative because it limits any possible mistakes by charts being misread or confused in the amount of clutter they already contain.

Title: CORP JET DID NOT FLY NOISE ABATEMENT PROC ON DEP FROM ABQ RWY 8. PLT DEVIATION.
Narrative: WE WERE ISSUED 'LEFT TURN, HDG 320 DEGS FOLLOWING NOISE ABATEMENT PROCS. CLRED FOR TKOF' AFTER 1000', THE CAPT TURNED LEFT TO 320 DEGS WHILE CLBING ON THE SID. THE TWR CTLR CAME ON FREQ AND SAID, 'I DID NOT AUTHORIZE THAT TURN. I WISH YOU GUYS WOULD LISTEN UP. I KNOW WE ARE BUSY AND IN A HURRY, BUT WE NEED TO WORK TOGETHER TO GET THIS THING TO WORK.' WE CONTINUED THE SID W/O FURTHER INCIDENT. THE REASON, AND THEREFORE THE CRUX OF THE PROB, WAS LACK OF MATERIAL ON AERONAUTICAL OR PUBLICATION CHARTS. THERE IS NO NOISE ABATEMENT PROCS PRINTED ON OUR COMMERCIAL CHARTS. THE ATIS DID NOT MENTION ANYTHING SPECIFIC, NOR DID THE TWR. FOR PLTS TO COMPLY WITH SIDS AND NOISE ABATEMENT WE NEED PRINTED MATERIAL OR TO BE TOLD WHAT WE NEED TO DO TO COMPLY. I SUGGEST NOISE ABATEMENT PAGES BE ADDED TO COMMERCIAL CHARTS AND NOS CHARTS. VERBAL CLRNC WOULD BE THE BEST ALTERNATIVE BECAUSE IT LIMITS ANY POSSIBLE MISTAKES BY CHARTS BEING MISREAD OR CONFUSED IN THE AMOUNT OF CLUTTER THEY ALREADY CONTAIN.
