[We received a] GPWS warning [on a] visual [approach] to 28R in boi with terrain and airport in sight throughout approach. Approaching from the east over high; varied terrain; terrain was briefed and continuously monitored. [We] received a 'terrain; pull up' power was applied and climb initiated to silence warning approach was continued and landing was normal.
