Narrative:
I was flying with the autopilot engaged on our way to FL340. Passing FL290 the autopilot kicked off. I tried to reengage the autopilot with no success. At that time we got an ECAM navigation adr 1 fault; autopilot off and GPWS fault. The captain instructed me to fly the airplane and talk to ATC while he ran the ECAM. After finishing the ECAM and running through the appropriate procedures; we had lost numerous systems necessary for auto flight. I now was hand flying the aircraft. The captain discussed the situation with dispatch and maintenance and after working through the appropriate procedures decided to divert. He exercised captain's emergency authority to recycle FMGC 1 and 2 circuit breaker. Despite running all appropriate procedures we were unable to return the aircraft to normal flight. We did not declare an emergency with ATC. We descended [below rvsm] and flew block altitudes to the divert airport. We also burned down our fuel in order to land under max landing weight. The landing was uneventful. After arriving at the gate; we debriefed with operations and maintenance.
