Narrative:
[I] called for door check. All doors responded. After takeoff found out that no flight attendant was seated at 2L. The flight attendant working position 2 should have been seated at 2L. She had been in the wrong jumpseat for takeoff. She reviewed her manual during the flight and was seated in the correct jumpseat for landing.

Title: B777 Flight Attendants describe the circumstances that led up to a takeoff with no Flight Attendant occupying the 2L jumpseat. The 2R Flight Attendant had been alerted by passengers near the door and she armed the door and notified the Purser.
