Narrative:

Lax taxiway markings inadequate/non-existent as to names/numbers. Clrncs should just specify via 'ramp,' 'inner,' 'outer' to simplify. Turnoffs and crossing txwys need clear, lighted identifiers. Hold line instruction/signs not readily apparent and no indication of such is on taxi chart. Even gate markings (terminal 5, at least) are poor and unlit.

Narrative: LAX TXWY MARKINGS INADEQUATE/NON-EXISTENT AS TO NAMES/NUMBERS. CLRNCS SHOULD JUST SPECIFY VIA 'RAMP,' 'INNER,' 'OUTER' TO SIMPLIFY. TURNOFFS AND XING TXWYS NEED CLR, LIGHTED IDENTIFIERS.
