Narrative:
Ptt switch malfunctioned enroute causing a hot microphone in all three positions. Replace the new three-position ptt switch back to the old style and relocate the hot microphone switch to the audio control panel. I've had numerous problems with these new switches ranging from this to being installed upside down.

Title: A B737 NG Captain reported that a new three position push to talk microphone switch stuck in flight causing a hot microphone.
Narrative: PTT switch malfunctioned enroute causing a hot MIC in all three positions. Replace the new three-position PTT switch back to the old style and relocate the hot MIC switch to the audio control panel. I've had numerous problems with these new switches ranging from this to being installed upside down.
