Narrative:

Did not receive sedar strips for these aircraft and had to take extra time during a busy session to request sedar strips so I could coordinate with oakland oceanic. Time would be better spent watching for traffic conflicts. All I am receiving are sedar fix/radial/distance strips on most aircraft. First of all; I need a strip because the aircraft will eventually enter a non-radar environment; so I need accurate estimates and altitudes to pass to oakland oceanic. Second; I need a sedar strip specifically because sedar is the coordination fix with oakland oceanic. Third; with multiple sedar aircraft; I especially need the sedar strips because I cannot open up multiple windows in the edst in order to pass all estimates and/or altitudes at once. I need to have the sedar strip readily available to use the sedar estimate or to write the pilot estimate for sedar on the strip. To do otherwise would spend too much valuable time opening and closing coordination boxes while oakland oceanic waits on the line. If I could open multiple coordination boxes at once and have all the information ready to go when I called ZOA then eram/edst would actually be useful for doing multiple coordinations. For now; by using sedar strips; coordination can be accomplished in a much more efficient and safe manner. Recommendation; provide sedar strips automatically for sector 42 or at least allow multiple edst coordination boxes to be opened simultaneously. How can it be so difficult to have eram provide sedar strips on aircraft going over sedar?
