Narrative:
Departed runway 23 on depul 2A departure. Flew gva 225 radial until intercepting pas 235 radial to argis intersection. We were instructed by ATC to stay on 225 radial until above 7000. Intercepted 235 radial at 6200 feet and 2 miles early. Event occurred due to misinterpretation of SID due to complex instructions in a high workload area. The 7000 foot limit needs to be taken from the bottom of the plate to a more prominent spot for clarification.
