Narrative:

Flight was scheduled for crew meals. Meal served to me was not marked as especially for crew; appeared to be a standard passenger meal and was marked as 'spinach lasagna roll.' while chewing the entrée I noticed something very crunchy. Around the third bite I bit down on something very hard and sharp. I extracted many pieces of sharp broken dishware from my mouth; the largest piece of which I saved and submitted to a union representative. It should be noted that the dish did not appear damaged; and that the sharp fragments were embedded in the food itself. As of this writing I do not appear to have suffered any injuries from ingesting and swallowing the debris; but this could have easily resulted in a serious medical problem.
