Title: A B737-700 Flight Crew misread the Whitestone Climb track of the La Guardia SID from LGA. ATC intervened with a vector; thence on course.
Narrative: Cleared on the LGA 2 Departure; WHITESTONE; climbed; and turned right from the 180-heading instead of left. ATC immediately gave us a heading of 340. The flight continued normally.
