Narrative:
Descending on the arrival our airspeed was getting fast; I called airspeed. The captain disconnected the auto pilot and raised the nose of the aircraft to slow down. Continuing the arrival with the auto pilot disengaged the captain reported that while making a left turn his left rudder pedal was solid or stuck. With more than normal pressure input the left rudder bind broke free. He then had normal rudder response for the remainder of the flight.
