Narrative:

On takeoff roll; captain noticed it was difficult to slide his heels across the deck under the rudder pedals due to non-skid applied on both captain and first officer's side of cockpit. [We] continued takeoff without incident. I am submitting report because captain had this issue this past spring and was told by maintenance that this is a non-compliance issue that the company was going to self-disclose.
