Narrative:
While I was going through cabin about mid-way; flight attendant B received a call from flight deck. She was a few rows up from the back of the cabin. Immediately after talking with flight deck; we got the 10;000 ft chime. She made the PA for clean up and began to move forward. I was walking toward her to be briefed on flight deck call and to assist in final clean-up. It became extremely turbulent at that time so we both had to sit down in the back of aircraft. We made an announcement that I would come through the cabin to pick up any remaining service items as soon as it was possible. It never became possible so we asked passengers to place service items on the floor. I was unable to make it to the forward jumpseat for landing. After we landed we made an announcement for passengers to stay seated so I could make it forward for deplaning. I was not in forward jumpseat during landing. The event occurred to do unexpected turbulence. For safety reasons I could not get through the cabin.
