Narrative:
En route at FL270 I noticed the right engine oil pressure fluctuating and at times bouncing into the yellow arc. I declared an emergency and diverted. On the decent at around FL180 the oil pressure rose back into the green arc and I landed without incident. On inspection the right oil level was found to be low with no signs of leakage and was filled to the top and the plane returned home without incident. I was asked by the FAA to submit a written report the next day.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: A King Air 200 pilot reported fluctuating oil pressure at FL270 and diverted. During descent the oil pressure stabilized and a normal two engine landing ensued. Post flight revealed the oil quantity to be low.
