Narrative:
Extended flight hours west/O proper crew rest. Departure XA50Z on 11/tue/88 landing XO28Z on 11/wed/88. Company check airman aboard, I explained need for rest. Company pressured crew to continue even though crew fatigued. Flight crews need clearly defined flight limits. Callback conversation with reporter revealed following information. The flight is normally scheduled with a 4 man crew. They were one first officer short. The flight stopped at keflavik and goose bay. No rest or crew relief were provided. One of the capts was a management type and he coerced the rest of the crew to continue the flight. Far's were ignored entirely.
