Narrative:
We approached and landed on runway 22L in dtw and exited the runway via high speed Y11. Tower asked us where we were going to park. We told them. Tower then gave us the instructions to taxi to gate via V and K (they even gave us progressive taxi as well). After we identified and confirmed the taxi instructions between the first officer and I; we started the after landing [checklist] and then we started to taxi via V; then K as per the ATC instructions. As we were getting close to taxiway H; I saw this EMB175 taxing towards K11; which intercepts K. I told the first officer; do you see that airplane; he is getting close and he is kind of fast. The EMB175 didn't seem to slow down so I deviated a little from the centerline of the taxiway and added a little power. The EMB175 taxied on K11 and then we saw them on Y. When we where abeam our gate; we tuned to ground frequency to tell ground about it. We heard the EMB175 crew saying to ground that we scared them. We told ground that it looked close to us and the ground controller said to proceed and to contact ramp control. The threat here was that EMB175 was probably on ground control and we were with tower. Tower gave us the taxi instructions and maybe there was no coordination between them. We exercised caution and we were where we were supposed to be. I think the coordination between tower and ground control was the issue.

Title: An EMB145 Captain taxiing after landing at DTW reported close conflict with an EMB175 that was also taxiing but apparently not on the same frequency.
