Narrative:
Aircraft climbing out and showing 'north' in altitude portion of data block on and off. This is one of many occurrences that happens randomly anywhere and everywhere. Same problem as before eram 1200 build. [We need to] find out why so many instances of 'north''s occurring. Very distracting to keep losing mode C for no apparent reason and then have to focus on that specific data block to determine if something is amiss with the mode C or transponder itself.

Title: ZSE Controller voiced concern regarding a recent update to the ERAM software noting a number of abnormalities.
Narrative: Aircraft climbing out and showing 'N' in altitude portion of data block on and off. This is one of many occurrences that happens randomly anywhere and everywhere.
