Narrative:

Following a night of minimum rest; we were told to expect the visual to [runway] 18 at dayton. Upon descending to 4;000 ft we were still IMC. Given descent to 3;000 ft and told to join the 18 localizer. The localizer was determined to be inoperative so we loaded and joined the RNAV final for 18. We were cleared the RNAV approach and sent to tower. I (first officer/pilot flying) was approximately 600 ft low on the approach triggering a tower call to check our altitude. We corrected back to the proper altitude and landed with no further incident.
