Attached copy of letter concerning critical communication usage of 'airways/inner marker' cockpit indicator light during windshear alerts, etc, for your consideration, discussion, and distribution as needed. Other potential uses (as in all 3 beacon lights subsequently or simultaneously flashing) would be possible for, e.g., collision averting (up/down/horizontal). Should be straightforward to implement now, until other (better, we hope) data-link systems are developed.

Narrative: ATTACHED COPY OF LETTER CONCERNING CRITICAL COMMUNICATION USAGE OF 'AIRWAYS/INNER MARKER' COCKPIT INDICATOR LIGHT DURING WINDSHEAR ALERTS, ETC, FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION, DISCUSSION, AND DISTRIBUTION AS NEEDED. OTHER POTENTIAL USES (AS IN ALL 3 BEACON LIGHTS SUBSEQUENTLY OR SIMULTANEOUSLY FLASHING) WOULD BE POSSIBLE FOR, E.G., COLLISION AVERTING (UP/DOWN/HORIZONTAL). SHOULD BE STRAIGHTFORWARD TO IMPLEMENT NOW, UNTIL OTHER (BETTER, WE HOPE) DATA-LINK SYSTEMS ARE DEVELOPED.
