Narrative:
After landing on runway 25R at lax, I took the high speed turnoff (42) and noticed an large transport Y taxiing at a higher than normal speed eastbound on taxiway juliet. At this point large transport Y was approximately 200' west of highspeed turnoff #42 when we heard ground clt instruct large transport Y to hold short of 42 and give way to large transport X coming off the high speed. Large transport Y acknowledged the request. Lax ground controller then cleared us, large transport X, 'right turn on juliet, taxi to your gate. Large transport Y will hold for you.' I then realized that large transport Y was traveling at too high a speed, west/O any effort to slow down, so I immediately came to a rapid stop. As the large transport Y aircraft passed by us, with no more than 20' of clearance between his wingtip and the nose of our aircraft, we observed the first officer give us the notorious finger salute. I then came over the radio and said, 'nice going large transport Y,' (facetiously) when lax ground controller repeated 'large transport Y was supposed to hold short for you and they did acknowledge that.' I then asked ground controller for large transport Y flight number. Ground control then gave us air carrier bxx and again repeated that he was supposed to hold for us and didn't know what happened. I said to ground controller: 'no problem, we'll take care of it.' immediately large transport Y came back on the radio and said, 'I'll bet you will.' I don't normally try and get back at other pilots from other airlines, but in this case it is evident that these individuals could have caused a serious incident had we not been on top of things. The lack of professionalism, not to mention the total disregard for our passenger' safety and their own passenger, needs to be addressed by their chief pilot. I do, hereby, request that our safety committee acquire the lax tower tapes and that a copy of the tapes, along with a copy of this flight envelope, be sent to air carrier B airlines chief pilot's office for review. In addition, a formal written apology by the parties involved is expected. If none is received within 20 days from this date a copy of this report will be sent to the FAA along with a formal complaint.

Title: ACR A-LGT INSTRUCTED TO HOLD FOR ACR B-LGT DELIBERATELY DISREGARDED AND TAXIED IN FRONT OF ACR B-LGT CAUSING HAZARD TO BOTH ACFT. HARASSMENT.
Narrative: AFTER LNDG ON RWY 25R AT LAX, I TOOK THE HIGH SPD TURNOFF (42) AND NOTICED AN LGT Y TAXIING AT A HIGHER THAN NORMAL SPD EBND ON TXWY JULIET. AT THIS POINT LGT Y WAS APPROX 200' W OF HIGHSPEED TURNOFF #42 WHEN WE HEARD GND CLT INSTRUCT LGT Y TO HOLD SHORT OF 42 AND GIVE WAY TO LGT X COMING OFF THE HIGH SPD. LGT Y ACKNOWLEDGED THE REQUEST. LAX GND CTLR THEN CLRED US, LGT X, 'RIGHT TURN ON JULIET, TAXI TO YOUR GATE. LGT Y WILL HOLD FOR YOU.' I THEN REALIZED THAT LGT Y WAS TRAVELING AT TOO HIGH A SPD, W/O ANY EFFORT TO SLOW DOWN, SO I IMMEDIATELY CAME TO A RAPID STOP. AS THE LGT Y ACFT PASSED BY US, WITH NO MORE THAN 20' OF CLRNC BTWN HIS WINGTIP AND THE NOSE OF OUR ACFT, WE OBSERVED THE F/O GIVE US THE NOTORIOUS FINGER SALUTE. I THEN CAME OVER THE RADIO AND SAID, 'NICE GOING LGT Y,' (FACETIOUSLY) WHEN LAX GND CTLR REPEATED 'LGT Y WAS SUPPOSED TO HOLD SHORT FOR YOU AND THEY DID ACKNOWLEDGE THAT.' I THEN ASKED GND CTLR FOR LGT Y FLT NUMBER. GND CTL THEN GAVE US ACR BXX AND AGAIN REPEATED THAT HE WAS SUPPOSED TO HOLD FOR US AND DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HAPPENED. I SAID TO GND CTLR: 'NO PROB, WE'LL TAKE CARE OF IT.' IMMEDIATELY LGT Y CAME BACK ON THE RADIO AND SAID, 'I'LL BET YOU WILL.' I DON'T NORMALLY TRY AND GET BACK AT OTHER PLTS FROM OTHER AIRLINES, BUT IN THIS CASE IT IS EVIDENT THAT THESE INDIVIDUALS COULD HAVE CAUSED A SERIOUS INCIDENT HAD WE NOT BEEN ON TOP OF THINGS. THE LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM, NOT TO MENTION THE TOTAL DISREGARD FOR OUR PAX' SAFETY AND THEIR OWN PAX, NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED BY THEIR CHIEF PLT. I DO, HEREBY, REQUEST THAT OUR SAFETY COMMITTEE ACQUIRE THE LAX TWR TAPES AND THAT A COPY OF THE TAPES, ALONG WITH A COPY OF THIS FLT ENVELOPE, BE SENT TO ACR B AIRLINES CHIEF PLT'S OFFICE FOR REVIEW. IN ADDITION, A FORMAL WRITTEN APOLOGY BY THE PARTIES INVOLVED IS EXPECTED. IF NONE IS RECEIVED WITHIN 20 DAYS FROM THIS DATE A COPY OF THIS RPT WILL BE SENT TO THE FAA ALONG WITH A FORMAL COMPLAINT.
