Narrative:
During initial takeoff roll on runway 9 with wind at 360 degree at 9 KTS and anti-ice on, the #3 engine failed to accelerate and the takeoff was aborted prior to reaching 10-15 KTS. The aircraft was taxied off the runway to a taxiway and the engine was shut down. The engine was re-started and ran normally. The engine was run-up several times with all normal indications. Permission was received for another takeoff and the flight proceeded to lax with an intermediate stop at stl. No abnormalities were encountered for the remainder of the flight. The captain chose not to write up the incident in the aircraft log book.

Title: ACR WDB TKOF ABORT DUE LOW POWER ON #3 ENGINE AT START OF TKOF ROLL. SHUT DOWN, RESTART, ALL SYSTEMS NORMAL.
Narrative: DURING INITIAL TKOF ROLL ON RWY 9 WITH WIND AT 360 DEG AT 9 KTS AND ANTI-ICE ON, THE #3 ENGINE FAILED TO ACCELERATE AND THE TKOF WAS ABORTED PRIOR TO REACHING 10-15 KTS. THE ACFT WAS TAXIED OFF THE RWY TO A TXWY AND THE ENGINE WAS SHUT DOWN. THE ENGINE WAS RE-STARTED AND RAN NORMALLY. THE ENGINE WAS RUN-UP SEVERAL TIMES WITH ALL NORMAL INDICATIONS. PERMISSION WAS RECEIVED FOR ANOTHER TKOF AND THE FLT PROCEEDED TO LAX WITH AN INTERMEDIATE STOP AT STL. NO ABNORMALITIES WERE ENCOUNTERED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE FLT.
