Narrative:
While on approach; the flaps jammed at 26 degrees. We executed a go-around; accomplished the checklist; declared an emergency; and landed with flaps at 26 without further incident. We then taxied to the gate and wrote up the flaps.

Title: When their flaps failed to extend beyond 26 degrees; the flight crew of a B737-800 executed a go around; completed the appropriate checklists; and landed without incident after declaring an emergency.
