We ran the aom procedure for 'cabin altitude in the amber range.' the cabin altitude kept climbing and so we put our masks on and performed the emergency procedure checklist for rapid depressurization followed by the emergency descent procedure. We declared an emergency at this time. The cabin altitude was about 9;500 ft. We continued on to destination without incident.
