Narrative:
After departing on the hassa 4 from ont climbing to intercept the 143 degree right from pomona, I started to turn right for the intercept. I spotted an medium large transport at 3 O'clock. At this point I continued to turn and climb, climbing over his path and crossing behind it. I advised ATC that I was climbing to miss an medium large transport. The controller stated that I had 9000' crossing altitude and to maintain 10000'. The problem started from a 2.5 hour delay in departing, 30 mins for a dead battery and 30 mins for ATC delay. After departing I tried to make up lost time by climbing fast and missed the 9000' crossing altitude. 10000' was to be my cruising altitude to wjf. My not putting 9000' in my altitude alerter is contrary to my single pilot operations. I had put 10000' in my alerter.

Title: WHILE FLYING A STANDARD INSTRUMENT DEP CORP PLT FAILED TO COMPLY WITH A CROSSING ALT RESTRICTION AND CONFLICTED WITH AN ACR.
Narrative: AFTER DEPARTING ON THE HASSA 4 FROM ONT CLBING TO INTERCEPT THE 143 DEG R FROM POMONA, I STARTED TO TURN RIGHT FOR THE INTERCEPT. I SPOTTED AN MLG AT 3 O'CLOCK. AT THIS POINT I CONTINUED TO TURN AND CLB, CLBING OVER HIS PATH AND XING BEHIND IT. I ADVISED ATC THAT I WAS CLBING TO MISS AN MLG. THE CTLR STATED THAT I HAD 9000' XING ALT AND TO MAINTAIN 10000'. THE PROB STARTED FROM A 2.5 HR DELAY IN DEPARTING, 30 MINS FOR A DEAD BATTERY AND 30 MINS FOR ATC DELAY. AFTER DEPARTING I TRIED TO MAKE UP LOST TIME BY CLBING FAST AND MISSED THE 9000' XING ALT. 10000' WAS TO BE MY CRUISING ALT TO WJF. MY NOT PUTTING 9000' IN MY ALT ALERTER IS CONTRARY TO MY SINGLE PLT OPS. I HAD PUT 10000' IN MY ALERTER.
