Narrative:
Downwind to runway 4 at hou on the rokit arrival via the runway 4 transition; the first officer (pilot not flying) says; 'parachutist at 12 o'clock.' I disconnected the autopilot and turned right. Two more parachutists appeared deploying their chutes and passed extremely close to our airplane. We informed ATC and they had no idea there was jumping in that area. Obviously; we need to be aware of parachute jumping close to our arrival area.
