Narrative:

Aircraft was inadvertently issued wrong altitude. The reporter confirmed that a loss of sep occurred and that he was working the handoff position. The reporter was talking to the ARTCC and had no involvement in the error. He said the radar controller inadvertently cleared a departure large transport to 10000' instead of 11000', resulting in a confliction with an arrival medium large transport. The reporter does not recall how close the aircraft got, nor what the WX conditions were. He has 19 yrs as fpl.

Title: LGT INADVERTENTLY ASSIGNED WRONG ALT DURING CLIMB OUT RESULTING IN LESS THAN STANDARD SEPARATION WITH AN ARR MLG.

Narrative: ACFT WAS INADVERTENTLY ISSUED WRONG ALT. THE RPTR CONFIRMED THAT A LOSS OF SEP OCCURRED AND THAT HE WAS WORKING THE HDOF POS. THE RPTR WAS TALKING TO THE ARTCC AND HAD NO INVOLVEMENT IN THE ERROR. HE SAID THE RADAR CTLR INADVERTENTLY CLRED A DEP LGT TO 10000' INSTEAD OF 11000', RESULTING IN A CONFLICTION WITH AN ARR MLG. THE RPTR DOES NOT RECALL HOW CLOSE THE ACFT GOT, NOR WHAT THE WX CONDITIONS WERE. HE HAS 19 YRS AS FPL.
