We were cleared to and level at FL310. The controller then said she had cleared us to FL290, not FL310. She pointed out military traffic to us at FL330 which we couldn't see.

Narrative: WE WERE CLRED TO AND LEVEL AT FL310. THE CTLR THEN SAID SHE HAD CLRED US TO FL290, NOT FL310. SHE POINTED OUT MIL TFC TO US AT FL330 WHICH WE COULDN'T SEE.
