Narrative:
Air carrier medium large transport en route sna to psp at 11000' was cleared sna musel 5 trm-psp. Ont approach worked the aircraft and made a handoff to sector 10. Apparently ont approach had reclred direct trm while the aircraft was south of V64, thus the aircraft violated sector 12's airspace west/O a handoff or a pointout being made to sector 12. We recently had a major airspace change in this general area and ont approach thought the airspace air carrier medium large transport entered belonged to sector 10.
