Narrative:
While flying the approach; we experienced a flap malfunction while selecting flaps to 15. We initiated a go-around and advised ATC of our problem. We declared an emergency; and ATC gave us vectors while we ran our QRH. We advised the flight attendants and passengers and once all checklists were completed; returned for landing.
