Narrative:
Right engine lagged behind left engine on descent and descending through approximately 8;000 feet; right gen off EICAS message appeared followed by right engine low oil pressure. The right engine then flamed out. We declared an emergency with approach control; followed by an uneventful landing. The flight attendants and passengers were briefed for a precautionary landing.

Title: B767-200 Captain reported right engine flamed out on approach. An emergency was declared and the flight landed without incident.
Narrative: Right engine lagged behind left engine on descent and descending through approximately 8;000 feet; right GEN OFF EICAS message appeared followed by right engine low oil pressure. The right engine then flamed out. We declared an emergency with Approach Control; followed by an uneventful landing. The flight attendants and passengers were briefed for a precautionary landing.
