Narrative:
#2 engine did not respond to throttle after idle descent. Engine had flamed out. Engine would not restart. Emergency was declared and an uneventful landing followed. Callback conversation with reporter revealed following information. The cause of engine failure was due to improperly secured fuel line coming loose. Fortunately the fuel being pumped by the pumps was vaporized in the airstream until the pumps were secured. Reporter stated only took maintenance 20 minutes to repair aircraft and get it underway. Appears line was not properly secured as coupling came loose.

Title: ENGINE FAILURE. INFLT ENGINE SHUTDOWN. EMERGENCY DECLARED.
Narrative: #2 ENGINE DID NOT RESPOND TO THROTTLE AFTER IDLE DESCENT. ENGINE HAD FLAMED OUT. ENGINE WOULD NOT RESTART. EMER WAS DECLARED AND AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG FOLLOWED. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED FOLLOWING INFO. THE CAUSE OF ENG FAILURE WAS DUE TO IMPROPERLY SECURED FUEL LINE COMING LOOSE. FORTUNATELY THE FUEL BEING PUMPED BY THE PUMPS WAS VAPORIZED IN THE AIRSTREAM UNTIL THE PUMPS WERE SECURED. RPTR STATED ONLY TOOK MAINT 20 MINUTES TO REPAIR ACFT AND GET IT UNDERWAY. APPEARS LINE WAS NOT PROPERLY SECURED AS COUPLING CAME LOOSE.
