Narrative:
I preflighted the aircraft and did a run-up prior to takeoff. Everything was normal in the preflight and run-up. After applying power upon reaching the rotation speed I aborted [the] takeoff because the engine was not producing enough power and slid off the end of the runway.

Title: PA24 pilot reported his engine was not producing normal power on takeoff roll; so he rejected and ran off the end of the runway.
