Narrative:
Many aircraft were deviating for WX and air carrier X was given a reroute by the adjacent sector and the route was not put into the computer. I was working the sat high altitude sector at the time. When air carrier X was handed to me about 25 NM north of stv VORTAC he was being followed by air carrier Y at the same altitude at air carrier X's 7-8 O'clock position and about 8-10 mi behind. We were working 26 aircraft and turned away some others. We were not aware that air carrier X was going to turn eastbound at stv. When air carrier X made his turn, air carrier Y overtook air carrier X. Both aircraft were issued turns but not in time to prevent loss of sep. I feel this occurred due to having 2 aircraft given to me by the adjacent sector that were cleared in a way that sep would cease soon after entering my airspace and I was not informed as to the route of flight these aircraft were on.
