Narrative:
Between setting standard power and 80 KTS; both the pilot flying and I (pilot monitoring) noticed an engine surge on the left EPR gauge as well as feeling it. The captain rejected the takeoff at 80 KTS. The surge was approximately +/- .1 EPR.
