Narrative:
Ran out of fuel in 1 tank; switched tanks could not get engine started. Initiated a precautionary landing in a field. Upon landing did not flare enough on the round out and struck wooden prop. Caused delaminating of wood on 1 blade of prop.

Title: Wilga 80 pilot reports exhausting fuel in one tank and being unable to restart the engine when fuel is switched to the remaining tank. An off airport landing is undertaken resulting in propeller damage.
