Narrative:
We just took off from fll airport on 9L. Miami departure cleared us from 3000' to 8000'. He had another plane that he cleared to 7000'. He then realized a conflict and told us to level off at 6000'. We were already at 6200 and we stopped the climb at 6500'. Both aircraft reported each other in sight.
