Narrative:
I took off from ocotillo wells airport after completing a normal preflight check and run-up. It was a hot day and I was near gross weight. After taking off from the airport (a dirt strip) at about 100' AGL, the engine seemed to have quit running on 1 cylinder. This was later determined to have been caused by lead-fouled plugs. I determined that I had insufficient altitude to return to the airport, so I affected a landing in a river bed on a dirt road. Up drove a park ranger who gave me a ticket for landing in a state park. I got the cylinder cleared up and took off west/O incident. No harm was done to the plane or the park.
