Narrative:
Loss of power during take off. Did not get airborne. Had to power slide the aircraft to stop. Aircraft went off the end of the runway into grass. No damage to propeller. No damage to landing gear. Aircraft was put back into hanger for maintenance inspection.

Title: A PA-28 140 lost power during the takeoff roll and as the pilot rejected the takeoff the aircraft exited the runway end without sustaining any damage.
