Narrative:
ATC issued several vectors which were unacceptable due to the position of thunderstorm. At least 3 times we had to reject their vectors and take up evasive headings to avoid thunderstorms showing on our radar and out the window. I felt that each time we informed approach of our maneuver requirements for WX avoidance, they were less than cooperative and continued to pressure us to take their vectors, which, according to our radar and eyeballs, were unacceptable.
