Narrative:
One aircraft on 1/2 mi final. I made rolling entry onto runway ahead of him for takeoff. I felt that distance he was out I had adequate time to get airborne without conflicting with his landing. He evidently felt it was too close for landing and executed a go around. Neither aircraft was ever in danger of hitting the other.
