Narrative:
Captain flying widebody transport ATIS stated to expect localizer only approach to 9L circle to 13. Captain had entered into FMC after honoe intersection direct to runway 13 final approach course. While I was looking for the 9L localizer frequency the captain had executed the commands on the computer. When I had looked up to ask the captain which frequency he wanted dialed in, the aircraft had departed the bsy 019 degree radial. Mia approach control got excited and asked which NAVAID we were using. The captain realized his mistake and told me to ask for a heading. Mia approach issued a 180 degree heading and the rest of the approach was completed without incident.
