Narrative:

On arrival to sea, runways changed so crossing altitude on STAR was lowered significantly. Maximum rate descent was initiated while new runway charts were briefed. We made the altitude crossing ok, but failed to make turn for vectors as required by STAR. The high workload combined with runway change, along with avoidance of precipitation on arrival, contributed to approximately 1-2 mi deviation on arrival. There may not be an actual deviation since ATC gave us present heading after the fix where we were supposed to turn. Furthermore, we were in the process of avoiding precipitation when ATC called to give us vectors.
