Narrative:
Unidented source of smell of smoke in cabin increasing in intensity along with vibration in aft galley floor area increasing in intensity necessitated an emergency landing in ind. Decision to divert was made 40 mi south of ind. On the ground mechanics discovered external water fill valve left open. This caused electric water compressor at aft galley floor area to run constantly. The lack of water pressure in the tank disabled the water system and caused a vibration in the aft galley floor. No water in the water heaters caused them to overheat and the circuit breakers to pop...except one. That is the one that started to smoke.
