Narrative:
Near the end of our landing roll, the tower told us to clear at the next intersection and reported smoke coming from our right main gear. We cleared the runway and the captain told me to make a visual inspection out my window which I did. I told him that there was excessive smoke but I could not see any fire and action should be taken. He agreed. The aircraft was stopped, the fire department was called and necessary procedures and checklists accomplished. The captain also advised the flight attendants to open the front door and put stairs down for a possible evacuate/evacuation. He then told me to go down and get a good visual and advise him. On inspection the smoke was subsiding with no apparent damage, fire or leakage. He then decided not to evacuate and continue to the gate under fire department escort. Maintenance later found a leaking brake.
